3rd Annual U.S. Fundraiser for the OSHC Foundation, Inc.

January 29, 2010

The OSHC Foundation is a United States nonprofit corporation which is a 501 (c) (3) organization. It was founded in 2001 by a group of hunters who formed a club in South Africa which became dedicated to support the needs of African school children and their communities. Since their founding, the U.S. Foundation and its South African non-profit affiliate have expanded their programs to include the distribution of wheel chairs, hearing aids, text books and financial support for selected schools and communities. They have partnered with trusted South African individuals and organizations in order to develop procedures to select the appropriate individuals and communities requiring support and to locally manage their charitable programs. To-date, the value of the goods and funds distributed to needy African schools, organizations and individuals exceeds $700,000 dollars.

This year’s fund raiser banquet will be held at the Country Springs Hotel which is located in Waukesha north side of I94: http://www.countryspringshotel.com/. Those wishing to stay at the Country Springs should mention the OSHC Foundation when making reservations. At this time, we are not scheduling a pheasant hunt along with this banquet.

There will be a social hour from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the Country Springs. Games of skill, raffles, silent auctions and other entertainment will be conducted during the social hour. Dinner will begin at 7:00 followed by a live auction at 7:45 PM.

The banquet cost for a single person is $65 while the cost for a couple will be only $100. An advance reservation of a full table of 5 couples (10 people) can be made for only $500. Those reserving a full table for the evening dinner will be awarded a 9x18mm pistol - either refurbished CZ 82’s or new FIE manufactured Makarovs – if the reservations and payment are received by either Dave Bahl or Jack Hagen no-later-than January 22nd.

Please come and join us on Friday January 29th for some great fun and help to support needy children in South Africa.
